MK Beauty Salon Rewards Program
Terms & Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE MK BEAUTY SALON REWARDS PROGRAM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE REWARDS PROGRAM.
1. Overview
MK Beauty Salon Rewards is a loyalty program operated by MK Beauty Salon ("we," "us," "our") designed to reward and thank loyal customers for patronizing our business and purchasing MK Beauty Salon services.
The program allows members to earn "Stars" on qualifying purchases, which can be redeemed for Rewards such as free haircuts, facials, and other beauty services at participating MK Beauty Salon locations.
These Terms apply to your access to and participation in MK Beauty Salon Rewards. They do not alter any other agreements you may have with MK Beauty Salon regarding gift cards, memberships, or other services.
2. Eligibility & Enrollment
2.1 Age Requirement
MK Beauty Salon Rewards is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you may participate only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
2.2 How to Join
To join MK Beauty Salon Rewards:

Download the MK Beauty Salon mobile app
Follow the prompts to create an account
You will be asked to provide:
First and last name
Email address
Phone number
Password
Birthday (month and day) – optional, but required to receive Birthday Reward
2.3 Account Requirements
You may have only one (1) account that is personal to you
Accounts are for personal use only; commercial use is prohibited
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
Do not share your account credentials with others
3. Earning Stars
3.1 Qualifying Purchases
You earn Stars by making qualifying purchases at participating MK Beauty Salon locations or through the MK Beauty Salon app.
Stars are earned based on how you pay:
3.2 Star Value
Each Star is valued at $0.05.
3.3 When Stars Are Not Earned
Stars are not earned on:
Purchases of gift cards (activation, reloads, transfers)
Membership fees
Taxes, tips, and service fees
Returns or refunds (Stars will be deducted)
3.4 Star Posting
Stars typically appear in your account within 24 hours of your qualifying purchase.
4. Star Expiration
Stars do not expire. Once earned, Stars remain in your account indefinitely until redeemed, regardless of membership tier or account activity.
5. Redeeming Stars
5.1 Redemption Options
Stars may be redeemed for Rewards at participating MK Beauty Salon locations. Each Star is valued at $0.05, meaning:
20 Stars = $1 value
100 Stars = $5 value
200 Stars = $10 value
Rewards are applied as credit toward services.
5.2 How to Redeem
In-salon: Provide your member barcode or registered payment method
Through the app: Select your Reward before checkout
5.3 Redemption Rules
Stars cannot be redeemed for cash
Stars cannot be transferred to another person
Stars are non-refundable once redeemed
If a service amount exceeds your Star value, the remaining amount must be paid
The oldest Stars are redeemed first
6. Birthday Reward
6.1 Eligibility
To qualify for the Birthday Reward, you must:
Have provided your birthday in your account profile
Have made at least one Star-earning transaction prior to your birthday
6.2 Reward
The Birthday Reward varies and may include:
Free Gift Card
Free haircut
Free blow dry
Other beauty services or products
The specific reward offered is based on the options available during that time period and will be communicated to eligible members.
6.3 Redemption Window
The Birthday Reward may be redeemed on your birthday only. Details will be provided when the reward is issued.
7. Returns & Adjustments
If you return a product or service for which you earned Stars:
We will deduct the Stars earned from your account
Your Star balance will reflect the deduction
8. Referral Rewards Program
Individuals who refer a new customer to MK Beauty Salon will be eligible for rewards as follows:
8.1 Standard Referral Reward
If a referred new customer:
Visits MK Beauty Salon for the first time
Pays for services during that visit
Then the referring customer receives $15 salon credit deposited into their membership account balance.
8.2 Gold Membership Referral Reward
If a referred new customer:
Visits MK Beauty Salon for the first time
Subscribes to the Gold Membership Plan during that visit
Then the referring customer receives a $25 MK Signature Gift Card (instead of the $15 salon credit). This gift card may be used only on future visits and cannot be used by the new customer who was referred.
8.3 Referral Reward Restrictions
Referral earnings are only processed after the referred customer completes their first transaction
Referral rewards apply only to new customers who have never visited MK Beauty Salon before
No rewards are issued for referring returning or existing customers
Salon credit earned through referrals cannot be used to pay for membership fees
Gift Cards earned through referrals cannot be used to pay for membership fees
Salon credit and Gift Cards may only be applied to salon services
9. Bring-a-Friend Program
When a customer brings a new customer to an appointment:
9.1 Standard Reward
The referring customer receives $15 salon credit deposited into their membership account balance, provided the new customer visits and pays for services during their first visit.
9.2 Gold Membership Upgrade Reward
If the new customer subscribes to the Gold Membership Plan during that visit:
The referring customer receives a $25 MK Signature Gift Card (instead of the $15 salon credit)
This gift card may only be used on future visits
The gift card cannot be used by the new customer who was brought in
9.3 Same-Day Gift Card Restriction
If the referring customer receives a $25 MK Signature Gift Card through the Bring-a-Friend Program:
It cannot be used on the same day it is received
It may only be used on future visits
If the referring customer brings two or more new customers to the same appointment, they may use a $25 gift card for themselves during that same appointment (if they have one)
10. Gift Card Use Restrictions
10.1 Gift Cards for Services Only
MK Beauty Salon Gift Cards may be used only toward salon services. Gift Cards cannot be used to pay for:
Membership fees
New membership enrollment
Purchasing other gift cards
10.2 Giveaway Program Restriction
Gift Cards obtained through the Giveaway Program are intended for individual use. No single individual may redeem more than one (1) Giveaway Program Gift Card, regardless of how many were received through family members or multiple sources.
If a person receives multiple Giveaway Program Gift Cards (for example, two children each receive a gift card and both give them to their mother), the recipient may use one for themselves and must give the remaining card(s) to another individual who has not previously redeemed a Giveaway Program Gift Card.
10.3 Referral Gift Card Restriction
Any $25 MK Signature Gift Card received through the Referral Rewards Program or Bring-a-Friend Program may be used by the referring customer only on a future visit and may not be redeemed by the new customer who was brought in.
11. Lost or Stolen Cards
If a gift card or membership card is lost or stolen:
The cardholder must report it promptly
A $5 processing fee applies for replacement
If the card is registered in the MK Beauty Salon app, the remaining balance may still be used via the app
MK Beauty Salon is not responsible for unauthorized use of lost or stolen cards.
12. Changes & Modifications
We reserve the right to change or modify these Terms, any Rewards, or the entire Rewards program at any time, in our sole discretion. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting at www.BeautyByMK.org/rewards/terms.
Your continued participation in the program following any changes confirms your acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop participating.
13. Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any account if:
We suspect fraudulent or abusive activity
You violate these Terms
You engage in commercial use of the program
Upon termination, all accumulated Stars will be forfeited.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Statement governs your participation in MK Beauty Salon Rewards. By joining, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Statement.
